"I purposely waited until retirement to get a dog, so that I knew I could give it the time and attention it deserved.  But in the period leading up to that happy occasion, I undertook an extensive "research" effort to determine which breed was most appropriate for me.  Having decided on an Australian Shepherd, I next looked for a responsible and knowledgeable breeder.  This search ultimately led me to Sunday Miles, and one of the pups she had available at the time, the dog which I now support, Dulcie (Countrywoods Jed's Dulcinea). 

I have been most pleased with this choice of both dog and breeder.  Dulcie has proven to be an amazing performer in the sport of agility, held back only by me as a beginning handler.  We have nevertheless reached competition at the Elite level in NADAC events just one year after entering our first trial, and her ribbon accumulation has been impressive. 

I am confident that this achievement is due, in no small measure, to the breeding criteria diligently maintained by Sunday.  Beyond simply her breeding program, she has maintained an active interest in the life and accomplishments of her offspring, and has continued an ongoing communication with me since we first met.  I am honored to have been approved as the "head of household" for one of her dogs, and hope that I can continue to prove a worthy provider for this outstanding example of the Aussie breed."
